Change, Engage and Grow – it’s a powerful theme that resonates with students and practitioners alike. It’s also the theme of the 2014 communication conference hosted by the Heritage Region of the International Association of Business Communicators. The conference takes place Oct. 19-21 in Providence, Rhode Island.
Student Conference scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 19.
As part of conference activities, student-focused programming is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 19, from noon to 4:30 p.m. at the Omni Conference Center in Providence. We’ll bring in senior practitioners from GE Healthcare and Shift Communications to talk about their careers, to inspire and to share practical tips, helping your students get a toe hold in their future career. There will be hands-on activities, including an opportunity to network with professional communicators holding leadership roles in chapters throughout the Midwest and East Coast.
