At business school, the career fair is one of the most important events of fall semester. Your resume is perfected and you have your 30 second pitch down pat but now it’s the night before the event and you have no idea what to wear! I know from experience that confidence is key at the career fair and having a fashionable yet professional outfit makes all the difference in the world.
As a Head Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, I would like to offer my advice to help you dress for success. CollegeFashionista showcases the latest in college fashion styles and trends on campuses around the world.
For men and women alike, well-fitting suits are extremely important as it makes you look well put together and professional. A black suit is a classic choice and appropriate for the Career Fair. Here are examples of a men’s suit and a women’s suit style. A suit should be paired with a blouse for women and button-down and tie combination for men. Women can wear high heels or flats while men should opt for dress shoes.
With your outfit all picked out, you’re ready to walk up to a future employer and inquire about internship opportunities!
