Last week students competed in the Hartford Case Competition.  Five teams of 4-5 students ranging from sophomores to seniors from all majors were given a case including industry information, company status and financial information. They had two weeks to prepare a solution to the issues including new marketing strategies and projected financials.

Students gave 15-20 min presentations to Jason Dana, Mark Gelinas and Keith Wechsler,  judges from The Hartford.  Teams also had the opportunity to network with representatives.   A winning team was selected after a tough deliberation and given a check for $1,000. The winning team has been invited to compete against winning teams from BU, UConn, University of Hartford and Quinnipiac on April 5th.  Be sure to check back for results from the finals!

Also, congratulations to the other participating teams:

Taylor Otterman, Andrew Macchiaverna, Tim Serrilla and Cole Rushford

Tomas Allen, Stephanie Kos, Nicholas Cannon, Thomas Soras and Kenneth Ukaigwe

Jose Bedoya, Andres Valdivia, Santiago Rada and Alberto Lara
