Resources at your fingertips. Don’t miss out!

virtual-career-center

Have you ever visited the Virtual Career Center (VCC) in BentleyLink?  If you have not, you are missing out!  The Virtual Career Center is full of resources that are there to help you in every step of your job/internship search, 24/7.  Starting to write your resume?  Samples are there.  Need to write a cover letter?  Get some tips.  Getting called in for interviews?  Find practice questions for resume and behavioral based interview questions.  Got an offer?  Check out the Offer Etiquette handout.  We have tried to think of all scenarios and resources you may need and have created handouts.

How do you get to the VCC?  Log into BentleyLink at www.bentley.edu/bentleylink-career.  Your username is your full Bentley email address.  If you do not remember your password, there is a helpful “forgot password” button to get you going.  Once you have logged into BentleyLink, there are two ways to access the VCC.  First, scroll down.  On the right hand side, there is a quicklink labeled Virtual Career Center.  The second option is to click on the Resources tab.  There is a link within that tab to take you into the VCC.  Navigating the VCC is pretty simple as well.  For all of the handouts loaded into the VCC for undergraduates, choose the “type” of “CCS – Undergrad”.  We also have a handful of videos in the VCC which are accessible through the “Video” type.  Using the Keyword option along with “CCS – Undergrad” is helpful too.

Make sure you check out this resource if you haven’t done so already.  It can be invaluable to help point you in the right direction!
