If your answer was yes, you must read on!  John Hancock is giving rising sophomore or junior accounting majors a chance to not only win cash, but to win a guaranteed interview through their first Business Case Competition this summer.  John Hancock has a unique CPA Development program that they have been recruiting for at Bentley and other area schools for the last few years.  This full-time program for new grads allows you to not only rotate through Internal Audit and US Finance during your three year program, but also prepares you for taking and becoming a CPA.

How does this case competition factor in to the Development program?  John Hancock would like to meet you now!  Case Competitions are a great way to gain great experience in a number of different areas.  You will be assigned to a team of people including current CPA Development Program members and summer interns at John Hancock to collaborate with while evaluating the case.  You will expand your critical thinking while determining various solutions to the case.  You will enhance your communication skills while interacting with your team and ultimately presenting your findings to the judges who will be selected from leadership throughout the company.  This is a tremendous opportunity for you!

And, not only is this a resume building opportunity, it is an opportunity for you to learn more about John Hancock and their wonderful full-time opportunity and internship program.  All members of the first place team will receive $500 each and the second place team will receive $250 each.  But, the student from the first place team won’t just win the cash, they will also win a guaranteed interview for a summer internship opportunity for next summer or the CPA Development Program.
